Full Moon in Scorpio

Thursday, May 31, at 6 p.m. Pacific Time, the Moon will be Full in the sign Scorpio. The Full Moon is a time of powerful energy. It is generally suggested that important events not be scheduled on the day of the Full Moon because the energy is 'extreme' and therefore hard to control.
This Full Moon in Scorpio will be only 5 degrees away from Jupiter, which has been transiting in Scorpio since last October. Since Jupiter in Scorpio is the planet of Truth in the sign of Research, we can expect some more revelations from the various ongoing investigations.
Venus will leave the sign Gemini on Wednesday, taking with it its benefic effects and leaving Mercury alone to fend off the malific square aspect of Mars from Pisces. There is more likelihood after Wednesday of breakdown in negotiations, more energy for arguements and jumping to conclusions, etc.

Mercury enters Gemini

Thursday, May 24, Mercury leaves Taurus and enters Gemini. Mercury is the planet that rules Gemini, so this combination of a planet in a sign will encourage all of the attributes of both Mercury and Gemini. Meanwhile, Jupiter, the planet of Truth and Wisdom, is still in Scorpio, the sign of Investigations. Mars is still in Pisces, and will be aspecting Mercury for the next 4 weeks with its 'square' (90 degree) aspect. Mars is also being encouraged by its relationship with Jupiter.
Gemini loves Information, and Arguement for its own sake. Mercury is Communications and the Media. Mercury in Gemini loves Gossip, and with Mars contributing a malevolent aspect, and further encouraged by Jupiter, we can expect an over-abundance of malicious gossip for the next four weeks.
This pattern of planets signifies speaking impulsively, so best to remember to put your mind in gear before opening your mouth.

New Moon in Taurus

The New Moon will be on Wednesday, May 16, in the 2nd degree of Taurus. Thus the coming four weeks will have Taurus qualities to it. Taurus is a sign that wants tangible results for its efforts.
Mercury, the planet of Rational Thought is already in Taurus. A Taurus Mercury is one that does not change its mind readily, since Taurus is one of the Fixed Signs i.e., has an energy pattern that is stubborn.
Mars, meanwhile, is still in Pisces, a sign that relies on Faith. Since Mars is a planet of Energy and Action, and is being augmented by the aspect and interaction with Jupiter transiting in Scorpio, we continue to get an energy pattern that gives power and encouragement to the Faith-based people. Thus, there will be no letup in either side trying to promote its beliefs. Since Pisces also indicates Oceans, there is a potential of Mars giving an Accident connected with Shipping or Travel on Boats.
In the chart of the United States (Sagittarius Rising), Mars is transiting in the 4th house of Lands, indicating problems with Floods, Fires, and Earthquakes, Agriculture, and Accidents or Violence concerning Land and Real Estate.

Mars enters Pisces, Mercury enters Taurus

Monday, May 7, Mars enters Pisces. Now we have Mars in Jupiter's sign while Jupiter is in Mars' sign, Scorpio. This is called a parivatna yoga , an exchange of signs. Additionally, Jupiter from Scorpio is contributing its energy to Pisces and Mars through its trinal (120 degree) aspect. Thus, Jupiter and Mars have established a strong relationship with each other in the Heavens, which continues until Mars leaves Pisces on June 16.
Mars, the planet of Action, is encouraged by Jupiter. Jupiter, the planet of Faith and Wisdom, is amplified be Mars. Both Scorpio and Pisces are Water signs, known more for instincts and emotional response rather than intellectual reasons. The main danger lies in being too optimistic, over-stepping one's limits, relying too much on faith and hope to give results. Since Jupiter is still retrograde (going backwards in the Heavens), the results are delayed in any case.
Mercury enters Taurus on Tuesday, March 8. Taurus is a sign ruled by Venus, which is traveling through Gemini, Mercury's sign. This creates another parivatna yoga, where Mercury and Venus are linked together. Since Gemini is the sign of Talk and Diplomacy, and Taurus wants tangible results for the effort,we should see a better effort towards resolving issues through compromise and seeking win-win solutions. But... as usual, it all depends on whose chart you are looking at.
